ARLINGTON, Texas – Tarleton State’s Victoria Cameron and Utah Valley’s Grace Degarimore are the Jersey Mike’s A Sub Above Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Women’s Outdoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week, for the competition period between April 15 and 22.
Cameron, a junior from Stephenville, won the 200-meter dash at the Joe Gillespie Invitational in a time of 23.05 – the best time in the WAC this season and 42nd in the NCAA this season. She also helped the Texans in the 4x100 relay, getting a WAC-best time of 43.70 which is 27th best in the NCAA.
Degarimore, a sophomore from Port Orchard, Wash., won the shot put at the Mt. SAC Relays in Walnut, Calif., with a throw of 15.78m (51’9.25”) Degarimore also has the best throw in the WAC this season in the discus.
