ARLINGTON, Texas –cCalifornia Baptist University’s Zouhair Redouane and Seattle University’s Azalea Groleau have been named the Jersey Mike’s A Sub Above Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Cross Country Athletes of the Week for competition during the week ending Saturday, Oct. 19.
 
Redouane, a freshman for CBU, delivered a standout performance at Pre-Nationals, finishing the Men’s A Race in 23:06.2, just shy of the course record. His time helped the Lancers place ninth in a highly competitive field, including 18 of the top 30 nationally ranked teams. 
 
Groleau capped off the regular season with a record-breaking performance at the Bronco Invitational, hosted by Santa Clara. Groleau, a junior for Seattle U, crossed the line in 20:44.4, lowering her school record by nearly three seconds. She placed seventh overall out of nearly 200 competitors, helping the Redhawks secure a fifth-place team finish.
