ARLINGTON, Texas – Utah Valley’s Mohamed Guled and Oakley Olson have been recognized as the Jersey Mike’s A Sub Above Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Cross Country Athletes of the Week for their performances at the SUU Color Country Invitational on October 4.
 
Guled captured his third individual title of the season, finishing first in the men’s 6K race with a time of 18:05.89 and winning by nearly 20 seconds. His effort contributed to Utah Valley securing their second team title of the season.
 
Olson took first place in the women’s 4K race, clocking in at 13:56.26. Her performance helped the 30th-ranked Wolverines achieve the top seven finishes, marking their second team victory this season.
