ARLINGTON, Texas – Utah Valley’s Oakley Olson and Mohamed Guled have been named the Jersey Mike’s A Sub Above Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Cross Country Athletes of the Week, for the meet week ending on Saturday, Sept. 13.
 
Oakley Olson, a junior for Utah Valley, delivered an impressive performance in the women’s 5K race, finishing 5th overall with a remarkable time of 15:34.0. 
 
On the men's side, Mohamed Guled of Utah Valley earned his accolade by securing 4th place in the men’s 4-mile race, finishing with an impressive time of 19:53.0.
