LOS ANGELES- The Grand Canyon men's tennis team saw its season come to an end on Saturday with a 4-0 loss to No. 11 UCLA.
The Lopes (19-7) fell behind early as they dropped the doubles point to the Bruins (18-5) who got wins on courts two and three.
In singles, UCLA got wins on courts one, two, and then five to put away the match.
Lorenzo Fucile fought on the top court but fell 6-1, 6-4. Mathieu Rajaonah lost 6-3, 6-3 while Freddie Grant fell 6-0, 6-2. Valentin Lang, Lucas Grego, and Jakub Novak all went unfinished in singles play.
UCLA will face Oklahoma State on Saturday with a chance to move on to the next round of the NCAA Championships.
