THIS WEEK IN WAC OUTDOOR TRACK AND FIELD
CSU BAKERSFIELD
The 'Runners were represented by Curt Threlkeld, Corbin Chronister, and Tim Van Horn at the NCAA West Regional. Threlkeld ran a 1:49.39 800-meter to take 15th, three spots out from advancing. Chronister finished 30th in the Discus and Van Horn notched 38th in the High Jump.
 
CHICAGO STATE
Matthew Brown finished 32nd in the 100-meter dash in a time of 10.50. He also competed with the 4x100 relay as they earned 11th in 39.87.
 
GRAND CANYON
The Lopes had eight athletes compete at the West Regional. Adrian King finished just four centimeters short of advancing taking 14th in the Long Jump. Knowledge Omovoh ran the 400-meter in 55.58 seconds while Alexa Hokanson crossed in 2:10.02 in the 800-meter. Jesse Newman notched 17th in the Javelin and Chris Linnin Jr. finished his career in the High Jump. Alyson Schwartz and Madelyn Lundberg both jumped 3.92 meters in the Pole Vault.
 
KANSAS CITY
For the Roos, Carolyn Ross took 39th in the 400-meter Hurdles. Matia Finley and Rebecca Finley placed 43rd and 44th, respectively, in the Discus. Bryce Miller closed his All-American career with 17th place in the 3,000-meter Steeplechase.
 
NM STATE
Hannah Smith was the only competitor for the Aggies as she finished 29th in the Triple Jump.
 
UT RIO GRANDE VALLEY
In the first day of competition at the West Regionals, Dimitris Levantinos took 29th in the 400-meter Hurdles. Ashley Hughes started the 400-meter dash but did not finish due to injury. On day two, Samariae Bonds broke the Shot Put program record with a toss of 15.95 meters to take 18th. Alexandra Hurst also competed in the Shot Put where she took 37th and Diamond Thomas finished 47th. Dai'ja Coleman jumped 12.19 meters in the Triple Jump earning 35th.
 
UTAH VALLEY
Aisha Graham-Perez and Savannah Neuberger kicked things off for the Wolverines at the NCAA Regionals both racing in the 1,500-meter. Graham-Perez also ran the 800-meter dash. Alex Lawrence tied for 39th in the Pole Vault and Albert MacArthur notched a 28th-place finish in the Long Jump. Andre Jones competed in his first-ever regionals taking 30th in the 400-meter Hurdles. On day two, Sean York took 35th and Adrian Jones placed in the top 40 in the 3,000 meter Steeplechase. Daven Russell posted a UVU school record and personal best as he took 21st in the Shot Put. MacArthur was just .02 meters short of advancing to the NCAA Nationals as he finished 13th in the Triple Jump.
time again to 1:51.22, the best in the NCAA this season. Riley Slayton took second in the 400-meter hurdles with a  time of 1:02.83. She is now sixth best on the program's all-times list. On the field side of things, Corbin Chronister threw a personal best in the Hammer Throw reaching 198'5". He is ranked third-best in the nation and sixth all-time for the program.
