Kansas City's Reighan Childers Named Scholar All-American

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Kansas City's Reighan Childers has been named to the Women's NCAA Division I Scholar All-America Team by the United Soccer Coaches Association (USC).

Childers, a senior midfielder from Grain Valley, Mo., received second team honors. She is pursuing a degree in Business Administration and has maintained a 3.80 GPA.

She was also named to the USC All-Pacific Region Team and earned WAC Offensive Player of the Year honors. Childers finished her senior campaign with six goals and seven assists for 19 total points. Throughout her career, she started 76 of 78 games played.

Student-athletes receiving Scholar All-America recognition must hold a 3.30 cumulative grade point average or better throughout their career, start 50 percent of all games and significantly contribute to their team, and be a junior or above in academic standing.
