ARLINGTON, Texas – The Western Athletic Conference (WAC) announced on Thursday the 2023 Academic All-WAC honorees for fall sports, with a total of 425 student-athletes across six sports recognized.

To be eligible for the honor, a student-athlete must have completed at least one academic year, have at least a 3.2 cumulative grade-point average and have participated in at least 50 percent of the team’s contests.

Utah Tech led the way with 51 honorees. Abilene Christian was second with 50 honorees and Utah Valley was third with 46 student-athletes recognized.

Of the six fall sports included, women’s soccer had the most student-athletes honored with 121. WAC football members that compete in the United Athletic Conference had 80 student-athletes recognized, and volleyball saw 73 total student-athlete honorees.
