ARLINGTON, Texas – Seattle U’s Rivekka Jumagulova has been named the Jersey Mike’s A Sub Above Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Women’s Golfer of the Month, for the tournament month of September.
 
Jumagulova, a senior, set a new Seattle U program record with a score of 13-under-par in the Seattle U Pat Lesser Harbottle Invitational on Sept. 30 – Oct. 1, winning the individual tournament. Jumagulova carded rounds of 67-68-68=203 on the par-72 and tallied 15 birdies for the tournament. She led the Redhawks to a second-place finish in the invitational with a team score of -9, a new program record for 54 holes.
 
Jumagulova posted a ninth-place finish in the Eagle Invitational hosted by Eastern Washington on Sept. 22-23. Jumagulova carded 74-70=144 to conclude the weekend at even par. She recorded an eagle and seven birdies in the invitational, helping Seattle U land a third-place finish.
 
Jumagulova opened the season with the best Redhawk score in Seattle U’s Leadership and Golf Invitational on Sept. 16-17. Jumagulova posted rounds of 73-76-70=219 (+3), finishing in 18^th. She accumulated 12 birdies on the weekend, six coming in the final round.
