2026 WAC Women's Golf Championship Results

McKINNEY, Texas – Tarleton State reclaimed the throne and won the 2026 WAC Women's Golf Championship with a final score of 889 (+25) at the Clubs of Stonebridge Ranch – Hills Course. Tarleton State became the sixth program in WAC history to win multiple women’s golf titles and the first to repeat as champion since 2021-22.

Louise Depadt of Tarleton State also defended her title from last year and posted a final score of 217 (+1), carding rounds of 74, 71, and 72. Depadt became the first WAC women’s golfer to win back-to-back conference individual titles since 2011-12. Her Texan teammate Lou Deltombe tied for second at 219 (+3) alongside Abilene Christian's Maddi Kamas. The Texans displayed depth with Natalia Fiel Ros also finishing in the top 10, tied for eighth at 225 (+9).
 
In the team standings, Abilene Christian secured second place, trailing Tarleton State by 11 strokes with a final score of 900 (+36). The team was bolstered by two top-five finishes from Kamas and Kate Pickrell, who tied for fifth at 223 (+7) with her Wildcat teammate Ryann Honea. Pickrell's consistent play included rounds of 76, 74, and 73.
 
UT Arlington took third place with a final team score of 904. Nitisha Manikandesh led her team, securing fourth individually with a 220 (+4), highlighted by a final round of 71. Tarini Bhoga also added to the team's strength, finishing seventh at 224 (+8). The team's performance in the final round, improving to a 297, solidified its podium finish.
 
Tarleton State now prepares for the NCAA regionals on May 11-13 as the Texans will find out where they are playing on Wednesday, April 29 at 3 p.m. CT on the 2026 NCAA Division I Women’s Golf Selection Show, which will be broadcast on the Golf Channel.
