McKINNEY, Texas –Tarleton State joined Abilene Christian at the top of the 2026 WAC Women’s Golf Championship team standings after notching a team score of 289 (+1) in the second round.

The Texans made significant gains in the second round, shooting 1-over-par as a team to match the Wildcats' overall score of 595 (+19). UT Arlington currently sits in third place with 607 (+31), while Utah Valley follows closely in fourth with a score of 609 (+33). California Baptist rounds out the top five with a total of 612 (+36).

In the individual standings, Ryann Honea of Abilene Christian took control of the top with an even-par 144, highlighted by a second-round 69 (-3), the best score on the day. ACU’s Maddi Kamas and Tarleton State’s Louise Depadt were tied for second at 145 (+1). Kamas posted a first-round score of 69 (-3) but slipped with a 76 (+4) in the second round, while Depadt improved with a 71 (-1) after an opening 74 (+2). Lou Deltombe from Tarleton State and Chloe Jang of Utah Valley shared fourth place, each finishing at 146 (+2).
