2024 Jersey Mike’s A Sub Above WAC Women’s Tennis Monthly Awards 
 
ARLINGTON, Texas – Tarleton State’s Noelia Lorca and Seattle U’s doubles team of Lamija Avdic and Liliya Dimova have been named the Jersey Mike’s A Sub Above Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Women’s Tennis Players of the Month for October. 
 
Lorca delivered an outstanding performance at the WAC Tennis Invitational, winning the women’s singles title after competing against a lineup of top-seeded opponents and ultimately prevailing in a hard-fought final against UT Arlington’s Ana Paula Jimenez. 
 
Avdic and Dimova went undefeated in doubles action, capturing the women’s doubles title at the WAC Tennis Invitational. The Seattle U pair closed out the tournament with a decisive win over the Grand Canyon duo of Gala Arangio and Dania Deaifi, displaying remarkable teamwork to secure the victory. 
 
Lorca, Avdic, and Dimova will now represent the WAC at the prestigious ITA Conference Masters at the Rome Tennis Center in Georgia from November 7-10. This event is one of a number of qualifying locations for the NCAA Singles and Doubles Championships.
