ARLINGTON, Texas – The Western Athletic Conference (WAC) announced on Wednesday the 2024 Academic All-WAC honorees for winter sports, with a total of 442 student-athletes across six sports recognized.

To be eligible for the honor, a student-athlete must have completed at least one academic year, have at least a 3.2 cumulative grade-point average and have participated in at least 50 percent of the team’s contests.

Grand Canyon led the way with 54 honorees. Utah Valley was second with 44 honorees and Seattle U was third with 42 student-athletes recognized.

Of the six winter sports included, women’s indoor track & field had the most student-athletes honored with 120. Women’s swimming & diving was second with 117 honored, followed by men’s indoor track & field in third with 88 student-athletes recognized.
