ARLINGTON, Texas – Grand Canyon University's Bella Crossman and Seattle U’s doubles team of Liliya Dimova and Lola Tavcar have been named the Jersey Mike’s A Sub Above Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Women’s Tennis Players of the Week for the competition week ending on Sunday, April 6.
 
Freshman Bella Crossman continued her impressive debut season with another dominant week on the road in Texas. Competing on Court 3, she remained undefeated in both singles and doubles action against WAC conference opponents Tarleton State and Abilene Christian. Crossman and her doubles partner opened with a 6-0 win on Court 2 to clinch the doubles point against Tarleton. She followed with a 6-3, 6-4 victory in singles play, earning a key point for Grand Canyon. Crossman stayed perfect on the weekend with another strong performance against Abilene Christian. She and her partner secured the doubles point with a 6-3 win on Court 2, then rolled through singles with a dominant 6-1, 6-0 showing that helped GCU earn the team win and split their Texas road trip.
 
Seattle U’s doubles team of senior Liliya Dimova and junior Lola Tavcar delivered a strong performance on their Senior Day, earning a 6-3 win on Court 3 against Eastern Washington. The win marked their third consecutive doubles victory, all secured by at least three points, showcasing their consistency and chemistry. Their play helped set the tone for a commanding 6-1 team win, Seattle U’s most dominant of the season. The Redhawks claimed five of six singles matches, with Dimova going undefeated on the day as part of a fitting celebration of her senior campaign.
