ARLINGTON, Texas – The Western Athletic Conference (WAC) announced the 2025 Academic All-WAC honorees for spring sports, along with freshmen and transfer student-athletes from all 2024-25 conference sports, on Friday. A total of 1,056 combined honorees across all 20 sports were recognized. 

To be eligible for Academic All-WAC recognition, a student-athlete must have completed at least one academic year, have at least a 3.2 cumulative grade-point average and have participated in at least 50 percent of the team’s contests.

Utah Valley led the way with 169 total honorees. Grand Canyon was second with 130 student-athletes recognized, followed by Utah Tech in third with 115 honorees.

Of the eight spring sports, WAC women’s outdoor track and field had the most student-athletes honored with 168. Baseball was second with 126, and men’s outdoor track and field was third with 124.
