ARLINGTON, Texas – Tarleton State’s Louise Depadt has been named the Jersey Mike’s A Sub Above Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Women’s Golfer of the Week for the tournament week that ended on Wednesday, Feb. 11.

Depadt, a junior, claimed her third individual collegiate tournament win representing Tarleton State at the Texas State Invitational on Feb. 2-3 at Landa Park Municipal Golf Course in New Braunfels. Depadt carded rounds of 70-64-71=205 to win by four strokes at 11-under-par. Depadt’s second round 8-under-par 64 and 205 54-hole total both established Tarleton State program records. Depadt was the only golfer in the 84-player field to finish under par in all three rounds, leading the field with 16 birdies and in par-3 (2.83, -2) and par-5 (4.25, -9) scoring average during the tournament.
