McKINNEY, Texas – Abilene Christian and Utah Valley tied atop the standings with team scores of 298 (+10) following Round 1 of the 2026 WAC Women's Golf Championship on Monday at the Clubs of Stonebridge Ranch.

UT Arlington trailed closely, finishing the round with a team score of 304 (+16). Tarleton State followed in fourth place with a score of 306 (+18) as California Baptist and Utah Tech tying for fifth place at 311 (+23). Southern Utah rounded out the field with a score of 312 (+24).

In the opening round, ACU’s Maddi Kamas led the individual standings with a score of 69, finishing three strokes under par. Chloe Jang of Utah Valley secured second place with an even-par 72. UVU’s Valentina Zuleta and UT Arlington’s Nitisha Manikandesh tied for third, both posting scores of 73 (+1).
