ARLINGTON, Texas – Abilene Christian’s Ryann Honea has been named the Jersey Mike’s A Sub Above Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Women’s Golfer of the Week for the tournament week that ended on Wednesday, March 25.

Honea, a senior, shared second place individually in an elite field at the PING ASU Invitational on March 23-25 at the Papago Golf Club in Phoenix, Arizona. Honea carded rounds of 68-71-70 to finish just one shot off the pace at 7-under-par 209, besting 20 players ranked inside the top-150 of the latest Clippd NCAA Division I individual rankings. Honea held the outright tournament lead after 45 holes, finishing tied for second in par-3 (2.83, -2) scoring for the week.
