Kalmar, MacDougall Named University Credit Union WAC Men’s Outdoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week

ARLINGTON, Texas – UT Arlington’s Alex Kalmar and Southern Utah’s Bronis MacDougall have been named the University Credit Union Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Men’s Outdoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week, for the competition period between April 15 and 21.

Kalmar, a junior from Temecula, Calif., won the 800-meter dash at the Bryan Clay Invitational in Azusa, with a time of 1:46.86. That’s the best time in the WAC and the 30th fastest time in the NCAA this season.

MacDougall, a senior from Kingston, Ontario, Canada, threw the Javelin at the Beach Invitational in Long Beach, Calif., 68.67 meters (211’0”). That is the top throw in the WAC this season and 34th best in the country.
