2025-26 WAC Commissioner's Cup Final Standings

ARLINGTON, Texas
– Tarleton State has claimed the 2025-26 Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Commissioner’s Cup following a strong finish to the spring competition season.

The WAC awards its Commissioner's Cup to the school that performs the best in a countable 14 of the conference's 17 men's and women's sponsored sports from an academic year. Points are awarded by aggregate scoring based on regular season and/or championship finishes depending on the sport and the number of institutions that sponsor the sport. An institution that does not sponsor a specific sport does not receive any points.

Only the regular season was counted for softball and baseball during the spring of 2026. For the sports of golf, tennis and outdoor track & field, points were determined using the WAC Championship results based on the per sport scoring system. Affiliates are used as a placeholder in the standings or championship results but are not scored in the overall Commissioner’s Cup standings.

Tarleton State compiled 95.2 points to secure the WAC Commissioner’s Cup for the first time. The Texans concluded the academic year with authority as they won the WAC’s women’s tennis, women’s golf, men’s golf, men’s outdoor and women’s indoor track and field championships along with the baseball regular season and conference tournament championships. The Texans totaled 17.0 bonus points from their NCAA AQ’s in football, men’s and women’s golf, tennis and baseball. Three of those bonus points were produced by Lokesh Sathyanathan’s individual national title in the indoor track and field men’s long jump event and Victoria Cameron’s top-three individual finish in the national women’s 60-meter indoor final.

Utah Valley checked in second in the WAC Commissioner Cup’s final standings with 76.8 points after winning regular season titles in women’s soccer, volleyball, and men’s basketball along with securing the men’s indoor and women’s outdoor WAC track and field championships.

California Baptist rounded out the top three of the standings with 75.5 points after claiming the WAC’s regular season crowns in men’s soccer, women’s basketball, and softball. The Lancers tallied 10.0 bonus points for winning the conference championships in women’s soccer, men’s and women’s basketball and softball as well as earning an automatic bid in men’s cross country.
