ARLINGTON, Texas – Seattle U’s Caroline Penner, Utah Valley’s Sydney Bushman and CJ Graham have been named the TicketSmarter Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Women’s Soccer Offensive Player, Defensive Player and Goalkeeper of the Week, for the final match week ending on Monday, Oct. 23.
 
Penner, a sophomore midfielder, led the Redhawks with four goals and nine points in two shutout wins over Southern Utah and Utah Tech. Penner scored one goal against Southern Utah in the first two minutes of the match. She then recorded her first collegiate hat trick in a 4-0 win over Utah Tech, moving her season goal total to seven.
 
Bushman, a senior, anchored the Utah Valley defense to a pair of shutout wins this past week to help the Wolverines claim a second straight WAC regular season title. Bushman also helped offensively with two goals, scoring the match-winner in both UVU’s 7-0 win over Utah Tech and 3-0 win over Southern Utah.
 
Graham, a senior, earned WAC Goalkeeper of the Week for the second consecutive week after leading Utah Valley this past week to a pair of shutout wins. She recorded three saves, recording her sixth shutout of the season.
