ARLINGTON, Texas – Utah Valley’s Faith Webber and Grand Canyon’s Destinee Duran-Wise and DeAira Jackson have been named the Jersey Mike’s A Sub Above Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Women’s Soccer Offensive Player, Defensive Player, and Goalkeeper of the Week, for the match week ending on Monday, Sept. 30.
 
Webber, a senior forward, recorded a brace with a pair of goals in Utah Valley’s 5-2 win at Tarleton State. Webber got the Wolverines on the board early with a goal in the ninth minute and scored again in the final seconds of the match to secure the brace. The two goals give Webber 40 career goals at Utah Valley, tying Heather Stainbrook as UVU’s all-time career goal scorer. Webber continues to lead the nation in shots (77) and shots per game (6.42) and leads the WAC in points (22) and goals (10).
 
Duran-Wise, a senior defender, played 82 minutes at defender against Utah Tech and helped in holding the Trailblazers to one goal on seven shots, two on goal. Duran-Wise also scored her first goal of the season on a long kick from outside the box to tie the match for the Lopes.
 
Jackson, a senior goalkeeper, played a full 90 minutes against Utah Tech and allowed just one goal early in the match. Jackson held the Trailblazers scoreless in the final 86 minutes and recorded one save on the night.
