ARLINGTON, Texas – Grand Canyon’s Tatum Parrott, UT Arlington’s Mollie Blank, and California Baptist’s Amanda Darling have been named the Jersey Mike’s A Sub Above Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Volleyball Player, Setter, and Libero of the Week, for the match week ending on Tuesday, Nov. 12.
 
Parrott, a junior outside hitter, led Grand Canyon to a pair of victories last week as she collected 35 kills in seven sets (5.0/set) and accumulated a .348 hitting percentage over the two matches. Parrott recorded a double-double in GCU’s win over Utah Tech with 18 kills and 10 digs. She also notched her best hitting percentage in a match this season as she hit .536 (17-2-28) against Seattle U. Parrott recorded 5.71 points per set over the week and tallied four blocks, three aces, and two assists. Parrott currently leads the WAC in kills per set (4.58) and points per set (5.33) in conference play.
 
Blank, a graduate setter, secured her fourth straight WAC Setter of the Week award as she averaged 11.14 assists per set with 78 assists in seven sets. Blank helped the Mavericks to a .343 team hitting percentage over the week including a .425 hitting percentage in UTA’s win over Tarleton State, the second-highest hitting percentage for the Mavs this season. She made 53 assists against the Texans, which is the most assists in a conference match this year for Blank. Blank also recorded 14 digs, four aces, and six kills for a .357 hitting percentage for the week. Blank now improves her assists per set in conference play to a WAC-best 11.0.
 
Darling, a graduate libero, helped California Baptist to a 2-1 week with the two wins coming against some of the top teams in the conference. Darling set a new season-high of 28 digs in a five-set battle with Seattle U and collected 21 digs in CBU’s win over Grand Canyon. Darling totaled 60 digs (4.62/set) over the week and added 13 assists to her stat line. Darling now has eight matches of at least 20 digs for the Lancers and leads the WAC in digs per set this year with 4.33.
