ARLINGTON, Texas – UT Arlington captured its first Western Athletic Conference (WAC) regular season title in program history after going undefeated in conference play for the first time since 1992. The Mavericks claimed the top seed of the 2024 WAC Volleyball Tournament that will take place on their home court at the College Park Center on Nov. 21-23.
 
UT Arlington finished the regular season with a WAC record of 16-0 and an overall record of 26-2. The Mavericks finished the season on a 17-game winning streak and recorded nine sweeps in conference play. UT Arlington will take on No. 8 seed Abilene Christian on Nov. 21 at 7 p.m. CT. The winner of that match will face the winner of No. 4 Utah Tech and No. 5 California Baptist, who will square off at 4 p.m. CT.
 
Grand Canyon finished runner-up in the WAC regular season standings with an 11-5 conference record. The Lopes will battle with the No. 7 seed Seattle U at 1 p.m. CT. The opening match of the tournament, No. 3 Utah Valley vs No. 6 Southern Utah at 10 a.m. CT, will take on the winner of the Lopes and the Redhawks.
 
The semifinal matches will take place on Friday, November 22 at 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. CT, and the championship match is scheduled for Saturday, November 23 at 6 p.m. CT. All seven matches will be broadcast live on ESPN+ and on WAC International for international viewers.
