ARLINGTON, Texas – Utah Valley’s Faith Webber, Mia Owens and Leah Wolf have been named the Jersey Mike’s A Sub Above Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Women’s Soccer Offensive Player, Defensive Player and Goalkeeper of the Week, for the match week ending on Monday, Oct. 27.
 
Webber, a graduate forward, produced one of the most dominant weeks in WAC history, finishing with six goals and one assist across two wins. Webber opened with a UVU-record five goals in an 8-0 victory over Southern Utah, breaking the single WAC-match goals record, tying the WAC all-matches record, and becoming the all-time career leader in WAC match goals with 39. She followed with a goal and an assist in a 3-0 win over Utah Tech, tying the WAC career record for points in conference play at 84. Nationally, her five-goal outing tied for the most individual goals and points in a single match in NCAA D-I this season. For the week, Webber totaled 13 points on 29 shots, including 15 on frame, as Utah Valley stayed unbeaten in league play.
 
Owens, a junior defender, anchored the UVU back line that held opponents scoreless last week, limiting the Thunderbirds and Trailblazers to just seven shots on goal combined. Owens logged 156 minutes over the two shutout wins.
 
Wolf, a senior goalkeeper, totaled seven saves across 160 minutes without allowing a goal, including six stops in the win over Utah Tech. Wolf finished the week with a 1.000 save percentage and a 0.00 goals-against average while earning one solo shutout and one combined shutout. Wolf leads the league with a .808 save percentage in conference play.
