ARLINGTON, Texas – Tarleton State’s Marissa Minetti, Emma Persson and Clara Sobius have been named the Jersey Mike’s A Sub Above Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Tennis Players of the Month for September.
 
Minetti, a freshman, posted an undefeated 6-0 singles record in the month of September and only lost one set in the entire month. Minetti collected her first collegiate tennis bagel (6-0 set) in the McNeese Cowgirl Invite and won the Flight F singles draw in the ACU Classic.
 
Persson, a senior, and Sobius, a senior, went 5-1 as a duo in September. The pair compiled a 3-0 record in the Cowgirl Invite and won the 3-4 playoff draw stage against Texas State in Flight B of the ACU Classic.
