ARLINGTON, Texas – Abilene Christian’s Miguel Hall and Tarleton State’s Lokesh Sathyanathan have been named the University Credit Union Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Men’s Indoor Track and Field Athletes of the Week, for the competition week ending on Sunday, Dec. 7.
 
Hall, a junior, finished third in the 60-meter hurdles with a time of 8.03 at Texas A&M’s McFerrin 12-Degree Invitational. Hall’s time was the 37^th best throughout the nation’s first week of competition.
 
Sathyanathan, a graduate student, claimed the country’s second-best long jump last week, jumping 7.75 meters in Oklahoma’s Winter Field Fest. Sathyanathan’s jump was just 0.02 meters behind Oklahoma’s Kennedy Stringfellow who captured the individual title and the nation-leading mark.
