ARLINGTON, Texas – Victoria Cameron and Amelie Monzie from Tarleton State have been named the Jersey Mike's A Sub Above Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Women's Outdoor Track & Field Athletes of the Week for the meet week ending on Sunday, April 6.

Cameron continued her standout sophomore season at the Bill Schmidt Invite, overcoming cold and rainy conditions to secure both individual and relay titles. She led the qualifiers in the 100m with a time of 11.22, the fastest in the WAC this week and her second-best performance under any conditions. Cameron also played a pivotal role on Tarleton State’s women’s 4x100m relay team, which recorded the second-fastest time in school history at 45.21, beating TCU by more than a second. Additionally, her 100m time from the 2025 Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays remains the top mark in the WAC and ranks seventh nationally.

Monzie showcased her talent in the long jump at the same meet. The sophomore captured third place, recording a leap of 5.72 meters on her third attempt. Her impressive jump places her seventh in the WAC for outdoor long jump.
