Tarleton State’s Cameron Named To CSC Women’s Track And Field Academic All-America Third Team

ARLINGTON, Texas – Tarleton State’s Victoria Cameron was selected to the 2025 Academic All-America Third Team in Division I women’s track and field/cross country on Tuesday, as voted on by College Sports Communicators (CSC).

Cameron landed on the Academic All-America Third Team boasting a 3.71 GPA as a kinesiology major at Tarleton State. Cameron was the WAC 2025 Indoor Track and Field Freshman of the Year after a series of record-breaking performances. Cameron set the WAC record for the 60-meter dash not once, but twice during the regular season, ultimately lowering it to 7.14. At the WAC Championships, Cameron continued to impress by winning the 60m dash with a time of 7.21, setting a championship meet record.

Cameron earned conference Women’s Outdoor Track and Field Athlete of the Year honors after finishing as a triple winner at the 2025 WAC Outdoor Championships in Arlington, establishing a conference record in the 100-meter dash with a time of 11.05 and running a wind-aided 22.51 to capture the 200-meter dash final. Cameron also ran with the winning Tarleton State 4x100-meter relay team that crossed the finish line in 43.93. Cameron clocked the eighth-fastest 100 dash time in the country during the season with a time of 11.01 at the NCAA DI West First Round meet in College Station to qualify for the 2025 NCAA DI Championships in Eugene, Oregon.
