ARLINGTON, Texas – UT Arlington’s Dorcas Jepkosgei has been named the Jersey Mike’s A Sub Above Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Women’s Cross Country Athlete of the Week, for the competition week ending on Saturday, Sept. 27.

Jepkosgei, a freshman, picked up her first career collegiate win during the women’s 5K at the Texas A&M Invitational on Sept. 13 in College Station. Jepkosgei recorded a winning time of 16:46.0 to pace UTA on the way to a fifth-place team showing.
