ARLINGTON, Texas – Abilene Christian’s
Grégoire Hoyeau has been named the University Credit Union Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Men’s Golfer of the Week for the competition week ending on Wednesday, Apr. 15.
Hoyeau, a senior, captured a share of the individual title at Ohio State’s Robert Kepler Invitational after carding a career-best 9-under 207 (72-69-66), becoming the Wildcats’ first individual champion since 2021. Hoyeau engineered the top performance in the field in the final round, shooting 6-under 66 to rise seven spots on the leaderboard. Hoyeau tied for third in the field with 15 birdies and recorded the fewest bogeys among 84 golfers with just four. Hoyeau led the Wildcats to a fifth-place finish at 10-under 854 to close out the regular season.
