Round 1 Results

McKINNEY, Texas – UT Arlington posted a strong start to the 2026 WAC Men's Golf Championship as the Mavericks lead the pack after Round 1 with a team score of 292 (+4).

Arth Sinha led the individual standings after the first round of the 2026 WAC Men's Golf Championship, carding a 68 (-4) to secure the top position. Sinha’s performance was complemented by teammate Nicholas Lyman, who posted a 70 (-2) to hold second place. This strong showing from UT Arlington placed it at the forefront of the team standings, with Abilene Christian trailing by three strokes after carding a 295 (+7).

Abilene Christian showcased depth with three players—Jack Hollingsed, Colin Leonard, and Gregoire Hoyeau—each finishing in a tie for fourth at 73 (+1), keeping the Wildcats in contention behind UT Arlington. Tarleton State rounded out the top three teams with a score of 298 (+10), aided by an even 72 from Alvaro Pastor for an individual third place and top-10 finishes from Maximilian Bjornstrom and Kellen Young, both shooting 75 (+3).
