ARLINGTON, Texas – Utah Valley’s Omar Yehya, Tom Dobek-Pietrowski and Ben Williams have been named the University Credit Union Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Men’s Soccer Offensive Player, Defensive Player and Goalkeeper of the Week, for the match week ending on Monday, Sept. 9.
 
Yehya, a redshirt senior midfielder, scored two goals and added an assist for Utah Valley during a 2-0-0 nonconference road trip in Florida. Yehya assisted on the match-winning goal in the 24th minute and added a shot on goal for the Wolverines in a 1-0 win at Florida Atlantic on Sept. 5. Yehya contributed goals in the 15th and 62nd minutes to provide the winning margin in a 2-0 Utah Valley victory at Florida Gulf Coast on Sept. 8.
 
Dobek-Pietrowski, a graduate defender, repeated as the conference defensive player of the week after helping guide the Utah Valley backline to a pair of shutouts during matches at Florida Atlantic and Florida Gulf Coast. The Wolverines limited FAU to just one shot on goal (none after 56:04) and FGCU to two shots on frame (none after 53:43) in the second half to preserve leads in each contest.
 
Williams, a junior transfer goalkeeper, earned the first two shutouts of his Division I career during the Utah Valley road trip in Florida. Williams was credited with seven saves in the 1-0 clean sheet against Florida Atlantic and contributed three stops in the 2-0 victory at Florida Gulf Coast.
