ARLINGTON, Texas –Utah Valley’s Avery Page, UT Arlington’s Mira Ledermueller and Abilene Christian’s Brennan Ramirez have been named the Jersey Mike’s A Sub Above Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Volleyball Player, Setter and Libero of the Week, for the match week ending on Sunday, Oct. 26.
 
Page, a senior outside hitter, led the Wolverines to a sweep over Utah Tech by recording 15 kills, a .333 hitting percentage and a season-high seven total blocks for a total of 18.5 points (6.17/set), the most points per set in the WAC last week. Page also leads the league with 4.14 points per set in conference play.
 
Ledermueller, a junior setter, collected her second consecutive WAC Setter of the Week honor, and fourth overall this season, after tallying a season-high 49 assists (12.25/set) in a four-set win against California Baptist, the most assists in a WAC game this year. Ledermueller also notched 12 digs, three total blocks, two aces and a kill in the match. She remains the only player in the WAC to average more than seven assists per set in conference play at 9.31.
 
Ramirez, a redshirt-freshman libero, totaled 44 digs (5.50/set) over the weekend including 24 against Utah Tech, the most digs in a four-set match in her young collegiate career. Ramirez also added on eight assists and an ace on the court last week.
