ARLINGTON, Texas – Abilene Christian’s Ryann Honea has been named the Jersey Mike’s A Sub Above Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Women’s Golfer of the Month for September 2025.

Honea, a senior, registered two top-10 results over three starts in the month of September that included her sixth career collegiate tournament win. Honea’s average score over nine September rounds was 71.3, which included six under-par rounds and three rounds in the 60s. Honea opened the fall with a tie for third place at the Purdue Boilermaker Classic on Sept. 1-2 in West Lafayette, Indiana, firing rounds of 73-71-69 to finish at 3-under-par 213. Honea secured her sixth career tournament victory at the Oral Roberts Lady Clerico on Sept. 15-16 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma, shooting rounds of 67-70-68 to win by five strokes at 11-under par 205. Honea’s bogey-free 5-under-par 67 in the first round established a ladies course record at Hillcrest Country Club. Honea shared 12th place at the Texas Tech Red Raider Invitational following rounds of 73-71-80 (224, +8) on Sept. 23-24.
