CBU IMPROVES TO 4-0 AND REMAINS UNBEATEN
California Baptist remained the only undefeated team in the WAC after improving to 4-0 following an 80-57 win at home over UC Riverside on Nov. 18. The Lancers have won their first three games at home and have allowed the fewest points in the WAC (252, average of 63.0 per game). Preseason WAC Player of the Year
Dominique Daniels Jr. checked in second in the league in points per game (21.5) and was third in assists per contest (4.3) as of Nov. 19.
UTA ROLLING WITH THREE STRAIGHT WINS
UT Arlington captured its third consecutive win and moved to 4-1 following an 84-76 victory at Evansville on Nov. 18. The Mavericks owned the best scoring defense in the conference with 60.0 points per game allowed and a .348 field goal percentage against through five games. Preseason all-conference selection
Raysean Seamster has been on fire in the early going for UTA, shooting a conference-best 62.3 percent from the floor while scoring 17.8 points per game, pulling down 7.6 rebounds per game and logging 2.4 steals per contest.
TARLETON STATE’S JOHNSON NAMED WAC PLAYER, NEWCOMER OF THE WEEK

Dior Johnson was named the WAC Player and Newcomer of the Week following a 1-1 Texan week that saw Johnson erupt for 42 points on the road at Baylor on Nov. 14. Johnson connected on 17-of-24 field goals to match the top scoring mark in NCAA Division I this season as of Nov. 19. Over his first six games in a Tarleton State uniform, Johnson led the WAC with a 22.7 points per game average and 41 made field goals, scoring in excess of 30 points three times against Baylor, Texas A&M-Corpus Christi (32 points, Nov. 8) and Angelo State (33 points, Nov. 17).
HOLCOMBE CONTINUES TO POWER THE UTAH VALLEY OFFENSE

Jackson Holcombe has impressed in his second season being featured in the Wolverine lineup, averaging 17.3 points per game while shooting 59.5 percent from the floor. Holcombe was one of two conference players to register multiple double-double performances thus far in 2025-26, going for 19 points and 10 rebounds versus West Coast Baptist on Nov. 4 and 16 points and 10 boards against Westminster on Nov. 12.
POTTER FITTING IN WELL AT UTAH TECH

Ethan Potter has been rolling early for the Trailblazers after transferring from in-conference foe Utah Valley in the offseason. Potter averaged 17.0 points and 7.9 rebounds per game on 53.9 percent shooting over his first seven starts with Utah Tech, adding an 80.4 percent showing at the free-throw line. Potter has matched Utah Valley’s Jackson Holcombe for the WAC lead with two double-doubles, including 20 points and 11 rebounds against Manhattan on Nov. 12 and 22 points and 13 rebounds versus Mississippi Valley State on Nov. 14 in Hawaii.
SOUTHERN UTAH’S FEROAH CONTINUES TO EFFECTLY BLOCK THE OPPOSITION

Jaiden Feroah has remained a defensive standout for the Thunderbirds over the season’s first five games, blocking an impressive 3.4 shots per game. In a matchup with former WAC foe UTRGV on Nov. 8, Feroah nearly completed a triple double with 24 points, 10 rebounds and eight blocked shots. The eight blocks were the most of any WAC player to date this season as of Nov. 19. Feroah’s 17 blocks ranked third in NCAA DI as of the latest NCAA statistics report.
