CBU KEEPS ROLLING WITH A 5-0 RECORD
California Baptist remained the only undefeated team in the WAC after improving to 5-0 following a 72-59 win at home over Grambling State on Nov. 21. The Lancers have won their first four games at home and have allowed the fewest points in the WAC (311 and an average of 62.2 per game). Preseason WAC Player of the Year
Dominique Daniels Jr. checked in second in the league in points per game (19.0) and was fourth in assists per contest (4.0) as of Nov. 25, and has hit at least one 3-pointer in 10 straight games.
TARLETON STATE’S JOHNSON REPEATS AS WAC PLAYER, NEWCOMER OF THE WEEK

Dior Johnson repeated as the WAC Player and Newcomer of the Week after continuing a scoring surge for the Texans in a 2-0 nonconference week. Johnson averaged 31.0 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists per game. Johnson scored 33 points with 18 made free throws in a win over Angelo State on Nov. 17 and added 29 points, five rebounds, six assists and two steals in a victory at Rice on Nov. 20. Johnson’s 42 points scored at Baylor on Nov. 14 remained tied for the top NCAA Division I scoring performance this season, and Johnson checked in seventh in NCAA DI with a 23.6 points per game average off the bench through seven games thus far in 2025-26.
WAC TEAMS ENJOYING THEIR HOME FLOORS THUS FAR IN THE NEW SEASON
WAC teams have enjoyed the friendly confines of their home arenas in the early going of 2025-26, compiling a cumulative record of 20-1 in home contests thus far this season. Each WAC team has averaged at least 77.0 points in its home games, posting average margins of victory of at least 14.5 points per game. Five WAC teams have shot 50 percent or higher from the field during home games.
UVU’S HOLCOMBE IS THE TOP DOUBLE-DOUBLE PERFORMER IN THE CONFERENCE

Jackson Holcombe continued his stellar start to the season with his conference-leading third double-double on Nov. 19 against UC Irvine, registering 12 points and 12 rebounds in a victory for the Wolverines. Along with three double-doubles, Holcombe is the only player in the WAC to register at least 10 rebounds in a game three separate times as of Nov. 25. Holcombe was the conference leader in field goal percentage (56.6 percent) and steals (2.4 SPG), ranked second in blocked shots (2.2 BPG), third in rebounding (7.8 RPG) and fourth in scoring (16.2 PPG) after five games.
UTA’S SEAMSTER A DUAL THREAT FOR THE MAVERICKS

Raysean Seamster has remained on a tear to begin the 2025-26 season, helping to power the Mavericks to a 5-2 start. Seamster has scored at least 15 points in each of his first seven games, ranking third in the WAC in both scoring average (17.1 PPG) and shooting percentage (55.3 percent). Seamster has added the second most steals per game (2.0 SPG) and fourth best rebounding average (7.1 RPG) in the conference.
