ARLINGTON, Texas – Utah Tech’s
Ethan Potter and California Baptist’s
Jordan Muller have been named the
University Credit Union Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Men’s Basketball Player and Newcomer of the Week, for the game week ending on Sunday, Nov. 30.
Potter, a senior transfer forward, led the way for Utah Tech in a 1-1 homestand, pacing the WAC with a 22.0 points per game average while shooting 62.5 percent (20-of-32) from the floor. Potter hit nine of his 13 shot attempts and pulled down five rebounds for the Trailblazers in a 68-63 setback against Portland State on Nov. 25. Utah Tech bounced back with a 77-69 win over UC Riverside on Nov. 29, which saw Potter lead all scorers with 26 points on 11 made field goals.
Muller, a freshman guard, helped guide the Lancers to two more victories to remain unbeaten thus far in 2025-26. Muller averaged 17.5 points and 3.0 assists per game last week, scoring a game-high 22 points while dishing out three assists in a 76-61 victory over San Diego on Nov. 25. Muller played the full 40 minutes and scored 13 points while distributing three assists in a 75-69 triumph at Oregon State on Nov. 29.
