2025 WAC Women's Golf Championship Final Results

LITCHFIELD PARK, Ariz. – Tarleton State held off the hard charging Wildcats of Abilene Christian to secure the program’s first ever Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Women’s Golf Championship title led by an outstanding third round performance from Louise Depadt. The Texans carded a final round score of 11-over-par 299 to win the championship by three strokes at 12-over 876 (294-283-299).

Tarleton State and Abilene Christian swapped for the lead on multiple occasions during the final round of the tournament, but the Texans were able to prevail ahead by the 18th hole as the Wildcats had to settle for second after firing 7-over 295 on the day to finish at 879 (302-282-295, +15). California Baptist rebounded to a third-place finish at 891 (295-304-292, +27). Seattle U ended one stroke behind the Lancers at the conclusion of the tournament to finish fourth at 892 (304-299-289, +28). A strong start to the championship for UT Arlington ends with a fifth-place finish at 894 (295-298-301, +30).

Tarleton State’s Louise Depadt won the championship’s individual title and led her team to victory with a 10-under-par 206 (72-68-66) final score, breaking Siripatsorn Patchana’s 54-hole WAC record of 207 (-6) that stood for the last seven years. Abilene Christian’s Ryann Honea’s attempt for back-to-back individual titles falls just short after totaling a final score of 6-under 210 (75-67-68). UT Arlington’s Nitisha Manikandesh wraps up an impressive tournament with a third-place finish at even (71-70-75).

Seattle U’s Jeanne Padillo recorded the WAC’s only hole-in-one in the championship, occurring in hole three (158 yards) of the third round. Padillo finished tied for 11th at 6-over 222 (75-74-73).

The Texans and Depadt now await the NCAA Division I Women’s Golf Selection Show on Wednesday, Apr. 23 at 1 p.m. ET on The Golf Channel, where they will learn where they will play in the regionals, May 5-7. The NCAA championship finals are set to begin May 16-21 in Carlsbad, California.
