ARLINGTON, Texas – Utah Tech’s Miller Durham and California Baptist’s Bryan Peck have been named the University Credit Union Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Baseball Player and Pitcher of the Week, for the game week ending on Saturday, May 16.
 
Durham, a junior first baseman, helped Utah Tech close out the regular season with a series sweep over Abilene Christian and finished with four straight multi-hit games including two games with three hits against the Wildcats, compiling a .667 batting average with 10 hits in 15 at-bats last week. Miller went 3-for-6 with a three-run homer and an RBI single against ACU on Thursday and posted a 3-for-4 day with two home runs, five RBIs and three runs scored on Saturday, carrying momentum for the Trailblazers into the WAC tournament. Miller concluded the regular season with the best batting average in the WAC, recording a .395 average on the 2026 season.
 
Peck, a graduate right-handed pitcher, led California Baptist to its 40^th win of the season with six shutout innings against No. 25 UC Santa Barbara last Monday. In his last regular season start of the season, Peck allowed just one hit in six innings of work and struck out three batters for his seventh win of the year, the second most in the WAC.
