2025 WAC Men's Soccer Release - Week 10
GROUP OF FOUR TIED ATOP THE STANDINGS
Four teams emerged from the latest week of WAC men’s soccer matches with identical 2-1-1 records and seven points in conference contests. No. 25 California Baptist, Grand Canyon, San Diego State and Utah Tech were each deadlocked at the top of the conference standings entering matches on Oct. 23. UNLV remained the only unbeaten team in WAC play with a 1-0-3 league record and six points.
CBU DRIVING ON ALL CYLINDERS
California Baptist has earned results in eight of its past 10 matches to climb into the United Soccer Coaches Top 25 for the first time this season, debuting in a tie for 25th on Oct. 21. The Lancers have claimed three straight results in WAC play to join a four-way tie for first place in the conference standings.
GCU GOALKEEPER IBARRA CONTINUES SOLID SEASON

Daniel Ibarra earned his first share of WAC Goalkeeper of the Week honors this season following a solid performance in a 1-1 draw against San José State on Oct. 18. Entering matches on Oct. 23, Ibarra owns the best save percentage in the conference with an .854 save percentage over 11 matches (10 starts) this season.
UVU STILL THE TOP SCORING TEAM IN THE WAC
Utah Valley remained the leading scoring team in the WAC entering matches on Oct. 23. The Wolverines have averaged 2.36 goals per match over their first 11 starts this season, adding a conference-high 2.27 assists per match to average an even 7.00 points per contest.
THE WAC IN THE NCAA RPI RANKINGS
California Baptist climbed to the top spot in the WAC in the latest NCAA RPI report released on Oct. 21, checking in 29th after compiling a 4-2-1 record thus far against the national top 100. Grand Canyon was next at 40th (2-3-2 vs. the top 100), with Utah Valley (52nd, 2-2-1 top 100 record) and San José State (56th, 1-2-2 top 100 record) just outside of the top 50 teams nationally.
