ARLINGTON, Texas – San José State’s Angel Iniguez, San Diego State’s Baptiste Boit and Utah Tech’s Luca Campoli have been named the University Credit Union Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Men’s Soccer Offensive Player, Defensive Player and Goalkeeper of the Week, for the match week ending on Monday, Oct. 27.

Iniguez, a senior midfielder, erupted for a conference-high three goals for the Spartans during an unbeaten San José State weekend, including one match winner. Iniguez registered both San José State goals, in the 13th and 82nd minutes, of a spirited 2-2 draw against San Diego State on Oct. 23. Iniguez delivered the match-winning goal for the Spartans in the 77th minute to pull ahead of UNLV in a 3-1 victory on Oct. 26 in Las Vegas.

Boit, a senior transfer defender, played a key role in a pair of San Diego State results that lifted the Aztecs into a tie for first place in the conference standings. After playing the full 90 minutes in a 2-2 draw at San José State on Oct. 23, Boit connected on the match-winning goal in the 70th minute while helping shut out Utah Valley for the first time this season in a 1-0 San Diego State triumph on Oct. 27.

Campoli, a freshman goalkeeper, claimed his second weekly conference honor in the past three weeks with a stellar showing on the road against two of the top teams in the WAC. Campoli logged three saves in a 2-2 draw at Grand Canyon on Oct. 23 before turning in eight saves in a 2-1 victory at No. 25 California Baptist on Oct. 26 to clinch a conference tournament berth for Utah Tech.
