ARLINGTON, Texas – Tarleton State’s Maximilian Bjornstrom has been named the University Credit Union Western Athletic Conference (WAC) Men’s Golfer of the Week for the competition week ending on Wednesday, Feb. 11.  
 
Bjornstrom, a freshman, collected his second collegiate top 15 finish at the Bentwater Intercollegiate, tying for 15^th at 3-over-par 216. Bjornstrom shot 3-under 68 in the first round and finished the third round with an even par 71, bringing his 54-hole score total to 216, beating his previous 54-hole career-low by three strokes. Bjornstrom carded an eagle on just his second hole of the tournament, the par-4, 295-yard seventh hole.
