2026 Air Force Reserve WAC Women’s Basketball Tournament Central
LAS VEGAS, Nevada – The 2026 Air Force Reserve WAC Women’s Basketball Tournament kicked off with the opening round game between No. 6 UT Arlington and No. 7 Utah Tech where the Lady Mavs defeated the Trailblazers 77-73 to advance to the quarterfinal round. UT Arlington will take on No. 3 Southern Utah on Wednesday, March 12 at 2:30 p.m. PT.
The Lady Mavs were able to overcome a seven-point deficit to Utah Tech with five and a half minutes remaining in the game after losing a 16-point lead halfway through the second quarter.
Kira Reynolds led UT Arlington with game-highs of 21 points and 16 rebounds, a career-high, for her eighth double-double of the season.
Nya Threatt went a perfect 8-of-8 from the free throw line and totaled 16 points on the night. Six Lady Mavs finished the game with at least eight points.
Four Trailblazers scored double-digit figures on the night, led by
Lauren Crocker who notched 17 points and eight boards.
Kaylee Borden, Brie Crittendon and
Chardonnay Hartley each posted 14 points in the contest.
